ABOUT ME!

Y'ello everyone,
Welcome to my blog. This is new to me so please pardon any gramatical errors, or lack of timely posts.  I intend to make this blog as unique, about myself type of blog. I will loosely discuss my upbringing, reasons for this blog, and my next post.

All through the years, I have enjoyed learning recipies, eating, cooking and basically reinventing new cooking styles. My blog will mostly focus on African cuisines, some European and American recipies. I welcome new ideas too, so please feel free to drop some comments on how to grow. oh! and some baby foods lol....

Disclamer: I am not a chef and do Not have any culinary experiences. I mostly learnt how to cook from my mother and my grandparents. Growing up in a Nigerian home (Ekiti parents lol), my mother made sure I learnt how to cook. At night, my mom will make sure I stayed in the kitchen with my aunties, hand them spices and usually asked me how to mix things together to achieve a certain taste. I hated it then, but I love it now. I'll say that formed my habit and love for cooking. Now, the technological advancements, I'd say, have helped me connect with different cooking styles, methods, recipies et all.

After watching the movie Julie and Julia, I made catfish Peppersoup, posted it on snapchat, asked people's opinion of me owning a blog, and viola! For those who haven't seen Julie and Julia, Julie decided to recreate Julia's 524 recipies. Not a fun tasks but she did it! So here I am! lol I hope I'm able to continue with this blog. lol

My name is Kemisola, mother of one precious king, Ethan. My Husband, Tayo's body basically appreciates my food lol! I have a Bachelors in Commerce with a concentration in HR. Currently on maternity leave, as Mr. Ethan turned 9 months yesterday. I'm a devoted christian, Redeemer to be precise. oh! Let me add that this blog will loosely showcase my family life but more focused on food.

I hope I didn't give too many people headaches! My next post will focus on some of my go-to spices. I'll upload pictures and a little write-up to accompany it.

Until next time, au revoir!
